Privacy Policy

When a survey is enabled for submissions, we store its question and your selected answer in Netlify Forms to understand how .NET applications use Crystal Reports, Reporting Services and embedded document editing. You may optionally add your name, email address and comments in the same form; if you do, they are stored with your answer and used to contact you about a preview of the product the survey is about (our report converter or our document editors). The surveys do not subscribe you to marketing.

Netlify processes technical request information for hosting and spam protection. Survey records remain in Netlify Forms until Ice Tea Group deletes them; no automatic survey retention schedule is configured. Preview versions disclose when a selection stays only in the current tab and is not submitted.

Each submission is sent to the Ice Tea Group sales team through the existing internal notification. A preview request does not trigger an automated visitor email or a download; sales contacts you to arrange it.

When you submit to the modernization advisor, your conversation and selected screenshots or documents are processed through our server by OpenAI to generate a preliminary assessment. Please remove personal information, credentials, and confidential material before submitting. Screenshot redaction runs locally in your browser before upload.

The advisor does not save uploaded files or conversations to a database. The page keeps them in memory until you clear or leave it. We request OpenAI responses with application storage disabled; provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. Removing an attachment prevents future submissions of that file but does not undo earlier processing.

If abuse is detected, the advisor is disabled and direct contact remains available. A block flag is saved in this browser’s local storage so the restriction persists on return. The flag contains no conversation, document, or contact information.

Optional dictation uses your browser’s speech-recognition provider. You can review and edit the transcript before submitting it to the advisor.

If you request an emailed assessment, we send the brief to the email address you provide. If you request an engineer review, we share your brief and email address with the ITG team and open our Zoho Bookings scheduler. We may also save your email address in Mailchimp as an assessment contact; this does not subscribe you to marketing emails or change an existing subscription preference. We do not send your assessment, conversation, or uploads to the Mailchimp audience. Attachments are not included in assessment emails. Email and meeting records follow our ordinary business retention practices.

Anonymous advisor analytics record actions and broad time-to-first-finding ranges, never conversation text, filenames, uploaded content, email addresses, or assessment identifiers.

For an instant assessment, this tab remembers the original referring page when the browser provides it, the landing and submission pages, selected UTM/campaign parameters and ad click identifiers in session storage. When you submit, we include this source context and your request IP in the accepted assessment record and internal notification emails so our team can understand where your inquiry came from. Unrelated URL parameters and fragments are removed. Browser referral information can be missing or incomplete. The visitor’s report and PDF omit these details. We do not send the saved source record or raw request IP to the assessment model or our analytics calls. Advertising providers may independently process click identifiers and technical metadata under the separate measurement choices described below. Assessment records and internal emails follow our ordinary business retention practices.

We use anonymous, cookie-free analytics to understand general website usage. These analytics do not identify individual visitors, set cookies, or create marketing profiles.

Google Ads contact measurement is optional on our English modernization landing page and contact page. It requires opt-in outside the United States, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and where the country is unknown. For hosting-identified US visitors, limited measurement may start under regional defaults with an immediate opt-out, including when the state is unavailable. That default is not a record of your consent. Google may use advertising cookies, ad click information and technical request metadata to attribute completed contact requests. Personalized advertising and enhanced conversions stay disabled; restricted data processing is enabled. We do not send names, email addresses, form answers, OTP receipts, source code, or assessment and consultation text to Google.

X is a separate optional recipient on those same pages. Google-only permission is not permission for X. X may use advertising cookies, click identifiers and technical browser information to attribute completed contacts. US-default X measurement uses restricted data use; optimization requires a new explicit X choice. Automatic matching, form/activity capture and dwell tracking are disabled, and page URLs/referrers are hidden from the X tag. We do not send form contents, names, emails, phone numbers, OTP receipts or assessment text to X. Where enabled, LinkedIn is a separate optional recipient on those same pages and requires its own explicit permission in every region. Existing Google or X permission does not enable LinkedIn. Only a completed contact sends an event-specific image pixel with account/conversion IDs and a random event ID. Its request omits the page URL and referrer; no form details, emails, phones, matching hashes, OTP receipts or assessment text are sent. We do not install LinkedIn sitewide activity tracking or enhanced matching. LinkedIn receives ordinary technical request metadata and may use third-party advertising cookies for attribution, subject to browser controls. If you contact us through a form or by email, we process the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, company, and message.

Where configured, OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads) is a separate optional measurement provider on the English modernization landing page and contact page. It requires its own explicit permission in every region. We send a lead-created event only after a successful assessment acceptance or a verified, successfully delivered contact request. The event contains a random deduplication ID and no assessment answers, messages, screenshots, OTP receipts or source code. The Pixel also processes ad click identifiers, a browser reference, page origin and technical request metadata. If automatic advanced matching is enabled for the source, supported contact information detected on the page is normalized and securely hashed in the browser before being sent to OpenAI; raw contact values are not sent through that matching feature. We opt these conversion events out of future user-level personalization.

Like most hosted websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical request data, such as IP address, requested page, timestamp, browser type, and security logs. We use this only to operate, secure, and diagnose the website.

We use contact information only to respond to your request, discuss our services, and keep necessary business records.

We use anonymous analytics only to understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve the website.

We use technical request data only for website delivery, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and reliability.

When allowed by your recipient-specific choices and regional policy, we send completed-contact events to Google Ads and X to measure campaign performance. X optimization is enabled only by its separate explicit permission. Anonymous assessment usage and opening the booking scheduler are not contact conversions or confirmed bookings. Contact details are not provided to either advertising platform.

Our Plausible website analytics remain anonymous and cookie-free. We also store functional preferences such as your theme and advisor state as described above.

Google measurement stays off until our first-party regional policy resolves. A trusted US country enables a default-on approach across states; other or unknown countries default off. An unavailable policy, a saved refusal, Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track prevent automatic measurement. We use hosting-provided country to select policy, without a separate geolocation service.

Use Accept or Configure permissions in the bottom banner, Turn off where measurement is on by default, or the Cookie preferences control on the English modernization or contact page. New choices are stored on this device with their notice version and time: permission lasts 180 days, refusal lasts until changed or storage is cleared. Existing explicit tab permissions remain limited to that tab. Browser privacy signals override permission. Withdrawal stops future conversions and applies across open tabs; it cannot recall data already sent. Existing advertising cookies can be cleared in your browser. You can use the advisor, booking scheduler and contact form without measurement.

Configuration has separate Google Ads and X options. Accept covers the named recipients and purposes; saving preferences lets you choose each independently. Existing Google permissions are not renewed or copied into X records. A prior advertising refusal remains protective when X is introduced. Requests already queued while permission applied may finish after withdrawal; no new completion event is sent afterward. X click-attribution cookies can last 30 days and other X cookies follow the provider settings and browser policy; see its cookie notice for current details.

If LinkedIn measurement is enabled, configuration adds a separate initially unchecked LinkedIn option. Google/X regional defaults and existing choices remain unchanged; LinkedIn stays off until you explicitly allow it. A previous advertising refusal, GPC or Do Not Track remains protective. LinkedIn permission follows the same six-month storage limit and can be withdrawn through Cookie preferences, including across open tabs. Permission alone sends no LinkedIn pageview.

ChatGPT Ads has a separate initially unchecked option. Permission for another provider never enables it. A previous advertising refusal, GPC or Do Not Track keeps it off. OpenAI permission lasts 180 days and can be withdrawn through Cookie preferences across open tabs. When permission is granted, the Pixel may set __oppref for 30 days and __obref for 365 days, subject to browser restrictions. Withdrawal sends the Pixel a denial, removes those attribution cookies and stops future conversion events. Events blocked by a refusal are never replayed after a later grant. Page views and booking clicks are not sent as conversion events.

For EU and UK visitors, we process contact requests based on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and, where applicable, steps requested before entering into a contract.

We process limited technical request data based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website.

Google Ads measurement relies on consent where required. The US default is limited to the disclosed non-sensitive, non-personalized measurement purpose, subject to opt-out; it is not a guarantee of legal compliance or permission for sensitive-data, known-minor or child-directed uses. This site does not verify age. Other countries remain opt-in. Hosting location is an estimate, not proof of residence. The US default expires on January 1, 2027 unless reviewed again.

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and maintain ordinary business records.

Technical logs are retained only for limited operational and security purposes according to our hosting provider and internal retention practices.

We use service providers, including website hosting and email services, to operate this website and communicate with you.

Optional advertising measurement is provided by Google under its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and its explanation at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google receives technical request data when its code loads under an allowed choice or regional default. We limit our conversion payload to the destination, a random deduplication identifier and a fixed contact-page URL and title.

X provides optional contact attribution and, with explicit X permission, advertising optimization under https://x.com/en/privacy. Its code receives technical request metadata when loaded under an allowed choice or restricted US default. The contact event contains only its event ID and privacy controls.

OpenAI provides optional ChatGPT Ads conversion measurement under https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/. Its Pixel loads only after explicit OpenAI permission and an available first-party measurement policy. This advertising measurement is separate from using OpenAI to generate an advisor assessment.

Depending on where you live, including in the EU or UK, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing of your personal data.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
